With the GoPro App you can now control your GoPro camera remotely. Features include: full control of all camera settings and remote viewfinder/preview on your Android device for easy shot framing, and more.
The GoPro App also gives you access to our Photo of the Day & Video of the Day channels, that keep you in touch with the latest radness from The GoPro Network. The GoPro App is currently only compatible with Wi-Fi BacPac™-enabled HD HERO2® cameras. For best GoPro App performance use 4.0 or newer Android devices. Older generations of Android devices may experience inconsistent video streaming frame rates.
NOTE: A product update is REQUIRED before using your GoPro Wi-Fi device(s). Visit http://gopro.com/update for a free download.
The GoPro App is not compatible with the Original HD HERO. GoPro App compatibility with the HERO3: Black Edition will be available in December 2012. GoPro App compatibility with the HERO3: White & Silver Edition will be available in November 2012.
